Collection: Star Wars Cromalins, Proofs & Box Flats

Kenner's distinctive Star Wars packaging designs has made it perhaps the most recognizable brand to have come out of toy aisles in the late 1970s to mid 1980s. The packaging has also become the most collectible of any toy line, helped in part by its availability.Pre-production examples of Star Wars packaging exist for every character released by Kenner, in one one form or another. Strikingly vivid cromalins exist for blister cards right through Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Revenge/Return of the Jedi. But the most valuable remain a handful of the unproduced card designs from the short lived Power of the Force line. Most cromalins are also entirely unique. Proof cards are more common in general, though many examples are also 'one of a kind'. While Revenge proof cards hold a real mystique and more collector interest, they are by far the most common form of pre-production packaging.
