ESB 48C proof cards such as this one are the single rarest grouping of proof cards that were saved from Kenner's dumpsters during the vintage era. Examples of any character are scarce, bordering on extremely difficult to locate.
Like all ESB 48C sample cards, this Ugnaught is printed on thicker card stock, with a higher quality print that regular proof cards and even production Star Wars carded figures.
This gives it a unique and obvious pre-production quality. It is also the only known example of this proof card for the Ugnaught. As few as 25 total ESB 48C proof cards are known to exist for the 48 characters Kenner released during this time.
