Star Wars 12" Dolls

Large Size Action Figures were the staple product in the Boys Toys category when Star Wars was released in 1977. Members of the packaging design team working for Kenner in 1978 recall marveling at the line's characters, as they produced artwork for packaging. Yet the line remains largely under appreciated, and relatively affordable in comparison to Kenners smaller 3 3/4" action figures. An incredible amount of detail was sculpted into the likes of C-3PO and Darth Vader, while the sheer number of accessories that packed with Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett and IG-88 makes them among the line's most sought after.
